Awesome eBay score!

I got an awesome deal on a one ounce gold Krugerrand!

Here's how the deal went down:

Gold spot price thanks to cartel selling:....$ 883.00
Winning bid+shipping for 1 oz Krug:.......$ 925.00
10% discount from eBay (up to $100):...-$ 92.50
Uncle Sam stimulus check:................... -$ 600.00
My out of pocket cost for 1 oz of Gold:...$ 232.50 :applause_
(That's even cheaper than a Bank of England fire sale!) :yes:

ebay is doing 10% coupons for June, I think

They really pissed a lot of people off with the feedback changes and now they are trying to undo some of the damage

Now that ebay owns paypal, they get to double-dip on fees on most transactions... and they have talked about the possibility of making paypal the only payment option

That's why so many people are paying over 1K for a buffalo proof on ebay. Never got one of these % off coupons myself.
How could we compete with bidders getting 10% off ?
